Explore emerging possibilities of self-expression through vocal rhythm and movement Music Made with Xara Infinitia Art Ensemble The Infinitia Art Ensemble is a collaboration of musicians exploring genres and modes of music from around the world. Formed in 2009 this quintet performs an eclectic synthesis of world tribal music centering on the drum mixed with Latin, Jazz, Belly, Soul and Funk grooves. The sound is a mix of the modern and the traditional creating a new fusion of world art music that uplifts and enchants. Saffire Bouchelion, leader and main composer for the band, is a drummer and percussionist who works across traditions and genres. He's been playing drum for 21 years, has performed on over 40 CD's and has opened for a number of international acts including Cheryl Crow, The Crash Test Dummies, The Barenaked Ladies, and The Paul Winter Consort. He has also shared the stage with John Denver and Whoopie Goldberg, and performed with Rick Allen, the Drummer from Def Leppard. Infinitia Drummers Utilizing Cajons, Wooden Bongos and Percussion Instruments created by Free Spirit Percussions the Infinitia Drummers create trans-like rhythms from many traditional styles and cultures.
