Drumming For Nia
In this playshop we learn a series of rhythms and soundscapes that can be used very effectively to accompany the wave
of the 7 cycles of a Nia class, and can also be used to accompany many other styles of dance classes as well. We will
learn the rhythms with our bodies and voices as well as on the drums for a fully embodied rhythmic experience. Please
feel free to bring djembes, djun-djuns, congas, and ashiko drums and hand percussion to join in the fun!

Teaching Nia To Live Drums
This class is for Nia teachers who wish to deepen their relationship to rhythm and drumming and feel empowered to lead
a deeper and richer dance experience for their classes when teaching to live drums. Moving to the same pulse, being in
relationship to it, we are also more in relationship to each other.

Nia Jam to Live Drums
In this section we uncover and celebrate the heartbeat of the community! Communicating with each other through call and response, sound and
silence, transmitting and receiving, a singular pulse is created, making music possible, making healing possible, making community possible!
Together we create the pulse, move to it, and surrender to it.

Nia Master Class
Sense the power of 17 years of passionate Nia-practice.

SHAMANTRA Workshop
1 to 3 days (Custom Designed for Your Needs)
Shamantra WSSHAMANTRA is deep sacred play, designed to help us remember the natural, joyous
rhythms of our collective hearts and voices. Through this creative, percussive journey the entire
being is explored and enriched physically, mentally, emotionally, and Spiritually through sounding,
movement, performance, music, and dance. The result is a more authentic sense of self expression
and the possibility of a stronger, more intimate and supportive human community.
